Wood Group PSN’s Re-Engineer course has been designed to help ex forces personnel to make a seamless transition into Oil and Gas and Wood Group PSN.

Re-Engineer currently provides ex forces personnel an opportunity to work in our Operations and Maintenance function Offshore and at Onshore sites.

The typical roles we recruit for, for this programme are Instrument Technicians, Electrical Technicians, Mechanical Technicians and Production Technicians. Our intake will vary from course to course depending on the needs of the business. For more information about what each technician role involves please follow the links to the right.

The programme is open to highly experienced individuals currently serving with maintenance backgrounds in the above disciplines. Typically, successful candidates will have completed a relevant apprenticeship, achieved the appropriate HNC qualification (or an equivalent) and gained relevant practical experience.

What we offer upon successful appointment is a comprehensive 8 week training programme specifically tailored to your discipline with the intention of delivering Oil and Gas specific training and familiarisation prior to starting your on or offshore career.
